Whether it's helping rural pastors find rest or offering devotionals that breathe life into daily routines, we seek to move wherever God sends us. Meet Todd And Karie
The Faces Behind the Mission

Todd’s Bio:
Todd grew up in the church and attended youth group when he was younger. A former police corporal, SWAT member, retail manager, and national lab technician, he now travels with Karie to rural towns, seeking God's direction and working to support local pastors. Todd is the founder of Pastor’s Respite, a program dedicated to providing rest and renewal for overworked, small congregation, rural pastors. Being blessed with experience in an eclectic variety of knowledge including church security, self-defense, work in electronics and Christian broadcasting, Todd seeks to highlight God's strength and compassion during their shared travels.

Karie’s Bio:
Karie has served as a nurse for over seven years. After their son and daughter graduated high school, she and her husband, Todd, began traveling across the country, following God’s calling. Karie is the author of Lifeline Devotionals and the Travel Nurse Assignment Organizer. With their loyal dog Higgins always by their side, Karie continues to serve patients and communities wherever the Lord leads.​​

After witnessing the unseen burdens of pastors in rural communities, Todd created Pastor’s Respite—a ministry to offer rest and restoration to pastors and their families.
Many pastors pour endlessly into others but rarely have time for themselves. This initiative offers them a chance to regroup, recharge, and return to the pulpit renewed.
